Ian Robinson is our Chairman and Managing Director, he joined the company in 1971 after gaining trade experience in Sweden and Finland. He has a customer base in the M62 corridor and is also an active member of the TTF. A fluent Swedish speaker with a knowledge of Finnish.

Hamish McGrady is a director who joined G&R in 1984 after working in the trade in England, Finland and Scotland for 15 years. Based in the Head Office, he looks after our Scottish business. Speaks some Finnish.

Keith Chilvers heads up our South East office and sells to customers in the Southern half of England and also Ireland. He started in the trade in 1979, initially on the importing side.

Richard Hull runs the North West office and looks after sales in this area, he started in the trade in 1969 and has wide experience of the timber trade.

Dexter Pereira works from the South East Office and in addition to sharing the south of England with Keith, he is our expert on specialist products like furniture, edge glued boards etc.

Chris Davidson has been in the timber trade since 1993 and is responsible for sales to the North East of England in addition to administrative duties in the Newcastle office.

John Gemmell was an importer for many years prior to joining us in 2000 to set up our office in Sheffield and develop sales in the North Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside areas

Our Administrative Team is led by our Company Secretary/Accountant, Mike Malia, who has been with us since 1983. He leads a team comprising of David Bland, who handles accounts queries and payments as well as controlling our Russian stocks, and Kevin Jones, who handles shipping documentation and queries. There is the added support of Kerry Dixon, Clare Graham and Kate Dalton who produce the contracts and answer the phones.
